Because our site exists both for and because of you, I thought this year it might be fun to not only give you links to our most popular posts this year (as we have in years past… see here and here), but also to provide you, our readers, with a sort of “annual report” on The Fundraising Authority, so you can see just what type of community you are a part of.
Our Community in 2012
This past year, The Fundraising Authority welcomed 370,832 visitors to our site. Our visitors came from all over the world… the countries with the most visitors to our site this year were:

- Philippines
- Ireland
- New Zealand
- Malaysia
The top 10 cities for our visitors were New York, London, Toronto, Chicago, Washington DC, Sydney, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Houston and San Francisco.
Most of our visitors found us through a search engine, with Google being the most popular, followed by Bing, Yahoo and Ask.com.
As of the time of this post, 9,216 people are subscribed to our Fundraising Authority Newsletter, and 435 people are subscribed to our site feed through RSS readers. We currently have 1,903 followers on Twitter.
The top social network referring to our site was Twitter, followed by Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google+.
